I live and work in a university town, and writing for its local lifestyle magazine has given me constant exposure to the programs and personalities that make the university an intellectual force in the Midwest. But this is hardly my first foray into the education field. I have had many occasions to write about the academic world at every level — K-12 and higher education alike — as a culture and as a setting for technology adoption.
